When a Florida man and his family were on vacation on a cruise ship, they happened to witness a real life scene from a horror movie: blood ‘waterfalling’ down the doors of an elevator.
Now, if you’re down with The Shining you can probably just imagine how the scene looked, except real life doesn’t have the same Kubrick touch or the croaking “Red Rum” warning.
Instead, it was a sheet of blood pouring down the doors, not gushing into the corridor.
To look and see the elevator with just blood coming down like a sheet, and not stopping…it was a real-life scene of ‘The Shining,’.
The couple described it as a rainstorm and could smell the blood, just as they were heading to dinner on the 10th floor of the Carnival Ecstasy.
45 minutes, the scene was sectioned off with a sign by the elevator reading, “Sorry, but I’m not working at the moment.” Awks.
The source of the blood was from a 66-year-old electrician who was working on the elevator when it came down and, although it is unclear what exactly happened, an investigation is under way.
