Our dear leader Jacob Zuma might struggle to read out big numbers, but at least he can keep track of who the latest Finance Minister is without mucking up reading off his cue cards.

Enter Steve Harvey, the man who failed so spectacularly as host of Miss Universe 2015 that he managed to steal the show. That video up top runs through the entirety of one of last year’s most cringe-worthy TV moments, the crown eventually having to be taken from Miss Colombia and popped on the head of Miss Philippines.

At least Harvey was man enough to admit the blame lay at his feet, starting from around the 4:30 mark with a bumbling apology of sorts. Then there was the inevitable series of tweets that followed:

Of course the memes rolled in thick and fast…

Something tells me he won’t be hosting any more gigs for a while to come. I wouldn’t recommend holidaying in South America any time soon, those wounds will still be raw.
