If you happened to celebrate New Year’s somewhere with one of those wild midnight fireworks shows my guess is you had a good time, although recalling it with crystal clarity might be somewhat problematic.
Check out this footage then from up close and personal with the big bangs themselves, Florida lighting up with each massive explosion.
Now that footage above isn’t actually from New Year’s, before everyone gets finicky, but this below was filmed in Peru’s capital city on the big night itself. Here’s ABC:
Travel photographer Jeff Cremer said he captured the multicoloured display at an altitude of about 200 metres above the city at midnight.
“I wanted to fly lower but I could just picture someone getting lucky with a direct bottle rocket hit to the drone so I stayed up high,” Mr Cremer said.
