Unless you enjoy playing with numbers, doing your taxes is exceptionally boring, tedious and labouring. And let’s be honest, the SARS website doesn’t do well in explaining the basics of tax. But even worse is once you have done them, paying can also prove inconvenient.
From 1 April 2016, SARS will no longer be accepting manual means of payment. Instead, all payments will have to made online. A mission? Perhaps, but we have the ideal solution:
No surprise, it comes in the form of an app and goes by the name EpicTax – a simple and user-friendly mobile application for all SA taxpayers. Once you have downloaded the app and logged in, it provides you with access to a registered tax practitioner at an affordable price.
The app offers the following:
– submission of an individual’s annual income tax return,
– chat with the tax practitioner about tax related issues,
– access to the individual’s tax history,
– access to tax updates, tax news and other taxpayer’s frequently asked questions, – the use of a simple tax calculator.
Got it? It’s a pleasure.
