Well that was one heck of a festive weekend, the Blitzboks ensuring not even Carte Blanche could ruin the day by wrapping up a tournament win in Cape Town.
Not that you would have caught all the action if you at the stadium, what with all the queuing for beer and fancy dress to enjoy. I understand the logic behind the ‘two beers per person’ rule, but to have to wait close to an hour in an effort to spend money left organisers looking like the biggest wallies of all.
Other than a few unsavoury incidents (like THIS one) it was a weekend to remember, although maybe it’s a good thing it only comes once a year.
