We have Zapiro, the Brits have Steve Bell – that’s possibly the best way to sum him up if the name doesn’t sound familiar.
The English political cartoonist has become revered over the years for his ruthless attacks on prominent political figures, the likes of Tony Blair and Benjamin Netanyahu having come under fire. It is perhaps his 2013 depiction of Margaret Thatcher [below], published in the the days following her death, that has up until this point been his most famous caricature.
Well now Bell has turned his attention to Donald Trump, the headline-grabbing overlord who wants to ban all Muslims from entering the hallowed turf of America.
