Imagine if wildlife had the ability to film their daily escapades and encounters. Just how many tear-jerking scenes would flood our news feed then? Until that becomes a reality, thankfully we have the Kruger National Park and other nature reserves where humans can capture some rare, uplifting – and sometimes traumatising – scenes for us all to watch.
Like this one of a baby elephant attempting to climb out of a muddy water bank and an adult ellie unsuccessfully helping it for a while until reinforcements come to the party.
Thankfully, things work out and the enthusiasm – albeit clumsy – that is witnessed as the herd trots away is beautifully heartwarming. Bless.
