Often when the uninformed think of a bunch of two-wheeled riders getting together they think of rogues like the Hell’s Angels, a biker gang Hunter S Thompson made famous for their habit of terrorising American towns back in the 1960’s.
The thing is that when a bunch of scooter fans get together for a 10-day adventure it’s a different story altogether, these guys making a lekker video to document their trip from Port Elizabeth to Cape Town in late September.
Comprising of seven Vespas and three Lambrettas, the 10 classic scooter fans filmed and edited their trip using an iPhone 6. Not too shabby guys, looks like you saved the best for last.
If you happen to be a Vespa fan and want to do your bit for Movember you should get involved with their ‘Ride for Movember’ campaign. Your R50 ticket to ride gets you a free Movember sticker – and all proceeds go to the Movember Foundation SA. The Cape Town and Durban events will take place this Saturday, with Jozi playing catch up on Sunday.
Here’s what that sticker will look on your scooter:
Ride like the wind good people – let it caress your ‘mo as you do your bit for prostrate cancer.
