Claremont’s Tiger Tiger has been in the news a fair bit these past few years, a couple of nasty incidents denting the reputation of the venue. Most notable was the incident where three young men were charged with attempted murder, although the charges were withdrawn in June of this year.
Then there is the competition they ran where the winner won a R30 000 breast job for National Cleavage Day – suffice to say they know who their target market is and they tailor their promotions accordingly.
This hasn’t stopped their latest event drawing massive heat on Facebook, originally titled #DrinksMustFall but since changed to ‘Tick Tock’. First off the post where they announced the name change in the wake of sustained pressure:
