An Astronaut Took A Picture Of South Africa From Space And It’s Beautiful

Scott Kelly is spending 522 days orbiting the earth, a job that gives him plenty of time to take some amazing shots from his vantage point.

Hey you, right down there in the southern part of Africa, damn you lookin’ fine.

Astronaut Scott Kelly, a 51-year-old engineer and retired US Navy Captain, is currently taking part in a study evaluating human health in space. He managed to find some time to snap a few pics and tweet them out, one in particular catching our attention:

By the time Kelly touches down on Earth again he will have spent 522 days in space. Keep those pictures coming, you’ve got a pretty decent view up there.
