Wow, that Adele has some serious pipes on her.
Following hot on the heels of Hello, which has already amassed over 400 million views on YouTube in just under a month, the songstress has released a live version of her second single from the upcoming album 25.
The song is called When We Were Young and it’s just typical Adele – mad vocal range, seriously deep lyrics and some face contorting along the way. Here’s the song’s co-writer Tobias Jesso Jr talking to the Daily Mail:
‘It’s impossible to question why she’s where she is once you sit down with her to write a song…
‘She was the first introduction I had to somebody who could sing words on the spot that were actually great.’
Then this from Adele herself:
…Adele said on Monday that the album was about ‘everyone that you’ve ever fallen out with, everyone that you’ve ever loved, everyone that you’ve never loved.’
Like we didn’t know that about her songs already from 21, the album hailed by Billboard as the greatest of all time. The new album drops in two days so expect to hear plenty more about it.
