Rumours have been swirling around Tinseltown the past week after it was revealed that one Hollywood heavyweight had been living with HIV for the past few years.

That’s not really the part that has people upset, more that he has kept his status a secret and continued to lead a playboy lifestyle that includes risky sexual behaviour.

Now it appears we know who that man is – none other than Charlie ‘Tiger Blood’ Sheen. Below from USA Today:

NBC News announced Monday that Sheen will make a “revealing personal announcement” in an exclusive, live sit-down interview on Tuesday with Matt Lauer, but did not provide further details.

Just to be clear no one here is stigmatising HIV/AIDS, we’ve moved far beyond those times, but Sheen does deserve criticism for sleeping with people and failing to disclose his status and taking the necessary precautions.

Here’s hoping his behaviour hasn’t made it harder for anyone else living with HIV in Hollywood.
