A round of applause and pats on the back for all, somehow we have made it through another week and talk has turned to what concoctions we will imbibe this weekend.

All the familiar favourites have been trotted out – we’ll admit we’re creatures of habit – but Fridays around these parts have taken on an extra little twist. We’re calling it #WorldClassFridays and it’s something of a labour of love tasting all of these delectable drinks.

Last week it was the Don Julio Los Altos Margarita, the first time I’ve touched tequila that early in the day since an unsavoury incident from many years ago. Now this week it’s the Ketel One Dutch Mule (video) , and the magic lies in the simplicity of this cocktail:

Add 50ml Ketel One Vodka, 15ml fresh lime juice and 3 dashes of Augusta bitters into a cocktail shaker with ice Shake well Strain into an ice – filled Collins glass Top with ginger beer and stir.

Play your cards right and you’re hopefully looking at something that resembles this…
