If you haven’t heard of the #Represent698 crew, now might be a good time to do a little homework. Not keen? Fine, we’ll spell it out for you but next time you do your own digging.
The crew is made up of Jack Parow, Riky Rick, Das Kapital, PH Fat, Nonku Phiri, Nicci St Bruce and Rolo Rozay – some of South Africa’s top musicians coming together to represent in a big way.
Now they’re taking things to the next level and tomorrow at Bassline in Newtown, Jozi will see one ripper of a party. Not only will you see the likes of Jack Parow, Riky Rick, PH FAT, Nonku Phiri, Das Kapital and Aero Manyelo – because that’s not enough to get you excited – but add to the mix Chicago rapper Rockie Fresh and this is one jol not to be missed.
Rockie Fresh is known for his smooth flow and is part of the world-famous Maybach Music Group and now he’s joining forces with our local musos to put on a show to remember. You can get a taste of what’s in store with Rockie’s latest Soundcloud HERE.
The countdown has begun and it’s only one short day until PUMA takes over Bassline in Newtown. It’s going to be a jam – avoid FoMo and get involved. Tickets can be bought HERE so get on it right this second.
