A while back, it was said that Durbs had the best source of coke in South Africa. Well, that didn’t last long as Cape Town soon took its place as the top SA city for scoring some decent white powder. How do I know this information? That’s none of your concern, but it seems that Durban’s running for that top spot again just took a step backwards.

Yesterday morning, a search was conducted at the Durban Harbour on a reefer container which held a shipment of chicken. Alongside the chicken was around 19kg of cocaine stored inside a black canvas bag.

The shipment came from Spain and arrests are yet to be made.

This was a random search by our officers. At this stage we can’t say where the drugs were headed. But we are investigating the matter.

Bleak.
