Shame Trevor, we know it must be a stressful job hosting The Daily Show but less than 20 episodes in and you’re calling in sick?

Jokes aside Noah underwent an emergency appendectomy yesterday, which means last night’s broadcast (in the US, not the delayed one we see on DSTV) was a repeat of an earlier show of his. Here’s CNN:

“We’re happy to report the procedure went well and he is currently recuperating from the surgery,” the network said in a tweet on Wednesday….

Comedy Central said that the network expects that Noah, 31, and “The Daily Show” will be back on Thursday.

They also tweeted out this very heartfelt message:

We concur – feel better Trevor.

For now you can enjoy Trevor poking a bit of fun at America’s law enforcement and their heavy-handed tactics.
