Radical: Airliner Catches Fire On Takeoff [Video]

When things go wrong with an aeroplane, the best you could wish for is that the incident occurs while the plane is still on the ground. That’s what happened to this Dynamic Airways’ plane when a leaking engine burst into flames on the tarmac as it was taxiing for takeoff. The plane had 101 passengers and crew.
Passengers were forced to evacuate the plane via the emergency chute who then fled as fast as possible from the transport across the tarmac. Clouds of black smoke bellowed over the runway.
Operations at the Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport in Florida were suspended for two hours and 15 passengers were injured.
