So you never checked in with us yesterday (shame on you), which means you won’t have the slightest clue what that headline means.
We’ll start you off HERE – give that a read and we’ll continue when you get back.
OK, on with the show in what may well be one of the stranger cases that’s made it to court in recent years. Rather fittingly it does take place in Salem, with the finding here from the Guardian:
[Lori Bruno] Sforza, a 75-year-old fortune teller [and witch, she is a woman of many talents], won a court order against New Orleans warlock Christian Day whom she claimed has harassed her for years with late-night phone calls and vicious internet posts…
Wearing a long black coat and necklaces of pentacles, Sforza steadied herself with a cane topped by a silver skull. She told the judge she could see her own future and that she is afraid of Day, who she claims hissed the word on the phone and hung up multiple times.
Day [pictures below], who wore a blue suit and has dark hair tinged purple, protested Judge Robert A Brennan’s decision ordering him to have no contact with the witch or face up to two and half years in prison.
I can’t resist any longer – so Sforza is a fortune teller, what did she have to say about the court’s ruling?
The fortune teller said she knew the judge would rule in her favor. She predicted it.
To each their own, although me thinks it pretty wise that this pair remain in Salem as the wider world may not be so understanding.
