Since Friday, my newsfeed has been littered with statuses pretty much all claiming one thing: “Oh My God, Adele just made me cry”. The seductive beauty that creates the ultimate power ballads released her first single off her new album – aptly titled Hello – and the crowd went wild.
After a three-year hiatus, Adele is honouring her fans with yet another roller coaster of emotions. It has so much respect, even celebrities are freaking out over it:
The music video also broke the record of most watched video in a day on Youtube, raking in around 27.7 million views in 24 hours. BAM. She broke Taylor Swifts previous record of 20.1 million views for her vid, Bad Blood.
Adele’s new album, 25, which features collaborations with hitmakers Ryan Tedder, Max Martin, Shellback, and others, drops on 20 November.
