Sometimes, people just get fed up with other people breaking the law and take action into their own hands. And that’s not a good thing, nor an excuse for bad behaviour, but it’s too easy to understand an old man’s frustration when he simply declares, “I don’t care”.
William Crum got charged after he purposely swerved into a passing motorcycle: two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. But when the WFAA asked William what had happened, he explained that an insect had bit him near his groin area and that the swerve was caused by a knee-jerk reaction to the pain.
Pity then that the driver of the motorcycle, Eric Sanders, had proof that this was not the case. In the video recorded by his friend, one can see Eric and his girlfriend cross over the yellow line and attempt to speed past motorists. But Good ol’ Will Crum wasn’t going to have any of that nonsense and purposely swerved to hit them. Eric’s girlfriend was hospitalised.
The video went viral over the weekend when Eric posted the video on Facebook.
Eric was cited for passing in a no-passing zone and driving with an invalid license. He was shocked over Will’s response:
That’s the worst thing, is when I saw that dude saying, ‘I don’t care, I don’t care.’ He says it four to five times. I’ve never seen this guy in my life. And he ran me over.
Will refused to apologise to Eric, and instead stated:
To her, but to him, no. Because he was doing something illegal.
Oh, bless him.
