Wow, Emirates must have shelled out the big bucks to land Jennifer Aniston for their new advert but it looks like money well spent.
It is rumoured Aniston was paid $5 million for her appearance, not bad when you consider it comes in at around a minute long. That’s some Floyd Mayweather kind of money right there, although not everyone is on board. Here’s Stuff:
…despite some love for the advert on Twitter – the clip is seen by others as a brash move by Emirates, and Aniston, who are implying that American airlines are no match for the luxury they offer.
…Gulf carriers like Emirates, Etihad and Qatar Airways are looking to expand and cut into the profits of US airlines.
