There’s something about film photography that gives me goosebumps. I’m not talking about those modern-day hipsters with a Pentax around their necks – but those collections of negatives that your mom has in a box somewhere and every now and again are brought out to be reminisced over.
So I pretty much got those same feels when I went through the collection of high-res images that NASA released. There’s just that essence of film throughout the whole package. Aaah, it’s like art. All 8 400 images. Hot damn.
So, is this just NASA’s next bid to once again try and prove to the world that the moon landing really did happen, or do they enjoy giving us things to look at and theorise over its existence? Who knows! They’re just real pretty to look at.
See the rest on their flickr page – yeah, ’cause NASA is cool like that.
