Zoolander is back on the DSTV movie channels and you can’t help but laugh at the ridiculousness of it all. Research centres for ants, files inside computers, let’s just hope the follow-up isn’t as awful as the abomination that was Anchorman 2.
But back to the real world of modelling and a man called Rick Owens. The designer was the talk of Paris Fashion Week after he broke the mould with this, something so odd it’s over to Vibe to call it:
While showing off the threads for his Spring/Summer 2016 collection—which included a little satin, some textured, ruffled fabrics and a lot of nudes like black, brown and tan—a handful of models made some heads turn with what they were wearing. Or rather, who they were wearing.
Instead of light necklaces, upside-down models hung from the necks and backs of fellow models as they strutted down the runway. By way of harnesses, models were snuggly strapped in like infants are to their mothers.
Right, let’s see what these humans harnessed together look like…
See folks, this is the kind of shite that would keep any kind of intelligent life forms far away from our shores. I would go as far as to say my ability to ‘even’ has been compromised, to use an oft-thrown around term of exasperation.
