Much how an autobiography released mid-career seems like jumping the gun so does a documentary on the Portuguese maestro, just 30 years old and still getting better. Take for example his feat from two weeks back, banging in five goals against Espanyol and then a hat-trick in the Champions League just three days later.
That being said, from first glance at the trailer it appears there may be more to Cristiano than the man who comes across as something of a tosser on the pitch. The doccie, shot over a 14-month period during which time Ronaldo shone for Real Madrid, also uses archival footage to show the making of the three-time Ballon d’Or winner.
The documentary will début in theatres on November 9 so expect to see a shirtless Ronaldo celebrating goals in the lead-up to the big day.
