Here’s the thing:
Barack Obama’s parents met as students in 1960 in a Russian class at the University of Hawaii. They got married on February 2, 1961, but separated when his mom moved back to Seattle along with their newborn son. They got divorced in March 1964.
His dad returned to his home of Kenya and had a few sons and a daughter.
But, during Obama’s reelection, Republicans went over to dig deep and find out information so they could kill Obama’s reputation and campaign. Highlighting the fact that Obama doesn’t help out his brother – who is poor and collects trash for money – George Hussein Obama was taken for a ride.
I don’t want my brother’s help. All I want is the Americans to pay me my dues.
At 29 years old, George lives in Nairobi’s Huruma slum.
I don’t want any issues now that things are this close… they (the Republican campaigners) can still come back with sweet talk and lies as they did the last time, at great cost to our (Obama’s Kenyan) family.
The last time the Republicans visited George, the media painted him as a drunk living in squalor. And it is true. But George is more than that.
Although the president’s brother is a rubbish collector, he is also an accomplished author, having co-written the best-selling memoir Homeland: An Extraordinary Story of Hope and Survival, with Damien Lewis. He followed this up with an off-Broadway play from the book titled Obama the Mamba, with acclaimed playwright David Kegan.
Both book and play are a take on George’s sordid youth and his optimistic attitude as an adult.
The proceeds from both were to go to the George Hussein Obama Fund for youth development in his Huruma neighbourhood.
But, after the Republicans came to the slum, they ruined his reputation. And he ended up with nothing to show for his efforts – although the book is still being published.
The media creates… and the media destroys.
All lies. You see, beware of the Americans.
