For your weekend pleasure: a little mechanical timelapse to get you hot and sweaty and inspired to live that hood and keep on at it.
The timelapse footage shows the Bloodhound Super-Sonic car being built. The vehicle, which aims to be the first land vehicle to reach more than 1,610km/h, will be seen by about 8,000 people this weekend in the UK.
While the the current land speed record is 1,228km/h set the British Thrust SSC in 1997, the Bloodhound will attempt to break the record next year.
