In case you weren’t aware, oh mighty rater of Uber drivers, this is one relationship that is something of a two-way street. It’s true, every Uber driver also has the chance to rate you as a passenger, and there’s nothing you can do to find out those scores.
Cue that wrong answer buzzer noise because it turns out there is, tucked away in the app’s settings where not many dare to venture. Let’s hand over to Mashable to tell you how to get there:
- Open the Uber app.
- Click the Profile section located at the top left.
- Select Help.
- Pick Account.
- Choose “I’d like to know my rating.”
- Agree to “know my rating.”
- Check your email for a full report.
And there, just like that, you can see whether or not your chatter on the relative merits of the Springbok team has gone down well with the drivers. You won’t get an individual rating each time you hop out, mind you, but will receive ratings reported as averages.
Not that you should need any kind of reminder (nor a rating system), but I imagine treating your driver with a certain degree of respect will go a long way to acing those five star reports.
