Things that fields of corn have seen – crop circles, baseball fields that delivered the ghosts of a fabled team and now Taylor Swift’s face.
It’s true, Maryland’s Summers Farm Harvest Festival have gone all out and honoured the pop star in the best way they know how – a 12 acre corn maze replica of her money maker. This below from TIME:
The 2.5-mile labyrinth features the 25-year-old pop star’s likeness holding a microphone with the words “dare to be different” carved above her head.
“Taylor Swift emanates a fun and positive image for today’s young people,” Teresa Summers Greenwood, owner of Summers Farm, said in a statement. “Swift’s generosity toward charitable causes is one thing, but perhaps more importantly, she dares to be different, embracing the power to be all that she can be…and encouraging her fans to do so as well.”
Taylor herself seems to approve, posting this to her Instagram account:
The corn maize will open on September 26 and organisers say it could take anywhere from half an hour to a couple of hours to solve.
Bieber fans are reportedly being turned away amidst fears they may never manage to find their way out.
