No self-respecting man or woman likes to be told how to cook their steaks mid-session. It’s just not done, which is why you better have that skill set down before you take on the job of feeding the troops.
Now there’s no harm in sneaking in ahead of time and equipping yourself with a few tricks of the trade. This way you can fend any suggestions off with a firm prod of the tongs, requesting that people may only enter the area surrounding the food if they come bearing a drink of your choosing.
Let’s see the infographic then courtesy of DesignTaxi – your eight handy tips await.
Now if all that seems a little tedious (or your friends aren’t the types to back off and give you the space you need) we have another suggestion. It’s hassle-free, easy on the wallet and really is steak cooked to perfection.
Our friends over at HQ run two specials that you really should know about by now but we’ll run through them one more time. Monday is their Two-For-One night, yourself and a lucky friend chowing two salad starters, two scrumptious steaks and fries for just R180.
Then Tuesday sees Date Night, the same deal but with a glass of red wine each for R250. The lights are turned down low and the mood has been set, up to you to do the rest.
Just remember if you have someone over for dinner and you ruin the steaks you won’t be all that popular. Brush up on those skills, a good meal can go a long way towards setting up a successful evening.
