Do you want to feel a morning tingle of goosebumps? Then read on.
Apple just released its new iPhone series – the iPhone 6s – at its product launch in San Fransico yesterday. They called it the ‘most advanced smartphone ever’. Boom. Here is why:
Not only do the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus come in silver, gold, rose gold and space grey, but they have 3D Touch. 3D touch recognises typical gestures – as well as force gestures. It gives shortcuts on the home screen to frequent actions, and also inside apps. The 4.7-inch retina iPhone 6s series has more than ever before:
The iPhone 6s features a 12MP iSight camera, as well as a 5MP Facetime camera with flash. For better colour performance, the new iSight camera has its colour filters inside photo diodes, and deep trench isolation separates diodes for more colour precision. The new camera features 4K video support and the ability to take 63MP panoramic photos.
Both the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus will also use the new A9 processor, which is 70% faster than the A8 processor found in the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. It’s also 90% faster for its GPU performance.
Oh hell’s yeah. The official release of the iPhone 6 series is 25 September, but I have a feeling South Africa will only be seeing it a little later. However, you guys obviously know by now that all the information can be found through the trusty Digicape, Cape Town’s only trusted Apple store outlet. Here are the specs:
