As Nevada’s Black Rock Desert came alive with an estimated 70 000 Burners there was of course a sprinkling of celebs on display.
Not that you could see very much of Katy Perry, caught up in one hell of a windstorm and trying to navigate a Segway for what looks like the first time. She posted the video to her Instagram on Sunday, with HollywoodLife describing it as follows:
Looking a bit like an extra from Mad Max:Fury Road, Katy blended in with the appropriate festival wear with goggles, face mask and a fur coat to keep her warm during the dropping temperatures in the evenings. However, what she didn’t bank on was eating dust…
The clip got even funnier when the helpless star then chased after the runaway Segway before it caused any more damage!
Oh the hilarity. On the plus side I didn’t see any of those little green bugs that organisers feared would blight the festival.
