So basically, if you didn’t know, the Foo Fighters are currently writing the book, ‘How To Make It Up To Your Fans After Your Lead Singer Breaks Their Leg And You Need To Cancel Your Tour’ – apparently that’s just the working title though.
Anyway, their latest chapter is titled ‘What To Do When You’re In London’.
The basic theme? Invite your superstar friend from a super group squared. Done. Easy. Aweh.
Sitting on his throne with his leg in a moon boot and guitar in hand, Dave Grohl addresses the crowd:
Now look. I don’t know if y’all have ever seen a supergroup. This is a ‘superdupergroup’. I don’t even know what to say because this kind of shit doesn’t happen every day. Let me just tell you that the Foo Fighters, right now, are living out our rock n’ roll fantasy with you tonight.
Their super star friends weren’t thaaaaat special. I mean, it’s just the epic Roger Taylor from Queen and the insane John Paul Jones from Led Zeppelin. Pffft, I could do that. Kidding.
Invited to share the stage with the Foo Fighters on the Milton Keynes Bowl stage in the UK, the ‘super duper group’ layed down Under Pressure – a track that has seen a solid feature on their tour. Dave later shouted at the crowd,
You should see my Rolodex. It’s insane.
Rumours have it that that’s set to be the theme of another chapter, titled ‘Dave Grohl’s Got The Power’.
