Law enforcement the world over could certainly use a little good press at the moment, something this policewoman has managed with some nifty footwork.

Manchester played host to the city’s annual Pride parade and Inspector Jacqui Prest decided to bust out her best moves, the videos of which have proved rather popular. Below from the Daily Mail:

The 44-year-old, who has a two and a half-year-old son with her wife of six years, said: ‘Footloose does that to me every time! My feet just started tapping, and it went from there.

‘I just love Pride. People clap and cheer and you see you have put a smile on their faces – it is fantastic. The atmosphere is electric”…

During a previous march she dressed in a panda costume to be a ‘Police with Pride’ mascot and was captured on camera doing the YMCA…

‘For me getting involved is about letting the LGBT community and any other possible victims of hate crime know the police are inclusive, we understand and we are there for them.

‘It also lets people know they are able to come out in the workplace. When I came to GMP eight years ago I knew straight away I could be open about my sexuality.’

Good work Jacqui – I reckon yourself and this Ozzie bloke below could form one hell of a duo.
