There’s something intrinsically important about making the space you work in your own. It should inspire you, remind you of the path you’re on and have an immediate collection of your most useful references. It’s kind of hard in a typical office space, especially when you’re working in a 9-5 environment and sharing with a million and one people and there’s a high lack of flexi hours in the world we live in.
It’s even harder when you’re either freelancing or working from home. We at 2oceansvibe know that finding your own space can be hard, especially when you’re suffering from cabin fever or extreme coffee consumption from daily trips to the closest Wifi resource. And we’re lucky enough to have stumbled on the giant that is the Woodstock Exchange.
If you’d like to be our neighbours, you should check out The Bureaux, a rad set of office spaces that allow you to make them your own. For just R1 500 per month you can get your own desk space that comes with cleaning, security and uncapped high-speed internet. If you want a larger area so you can maybe fit in an old leather couch or ceiling high indoor plant, then you can rent a space for around R5 500 per month. Not too shabby, huh?
To get you started, here’s some inspiration on how to make your office space more interesting: take a look at photographs of office spaces of some of the best minds of our time. Check the full infographic here.
