Calvin Harris used to be a supermarket stockboy in a small Scottish town. Now, he’s dating the princess of pop – TSwift – and the duo are rising hard and fast to topple Beyoncé and Jay Z’s status as highest earning couple in music.
Harris was just announced as THE top earning EDM producer, making nearly double of that of second-ranked David Guetta in Forbe’s Electronic Cash Kings’ top 12 list. Apparently, the rise in EDM DJ’s demands the DJ’s to push the boundaries, to create shows that are bigger and better with insane lighting and production values.
But I’m sure it doesn’t hurt that Harris’s DJ’ing rates are up to six figures or that his name has been coupled with Taylor Swift for the past few months.
Luckily, he’s kinda cute too.
