There are many ways to become a billionaire. You can dream up of the next Facebook (and become number one in the world), sell copious amounts of drugs (but then you probably won’t make Forbes’ list) or, I don’t know actually, because if I did I’d be one of those billionaires and not sitting here writing about them. *sob*
But it’s cool, I have around 10 years to get my ass into gear and – ka-ching ka-ching – watch the money roll in.
In the mean time, here are the top 5, courtesy of International Business Times, to inspire us to be better than we are, work harder than we do and invent beyond the world we live in. Damn, that just got real.
1. Mark Zuckerberg, 31, Co-founder of Facebook, Net Worth: $41.6 billion
2. Dustin Moskovitz, 31, Co-founder of Facebook, Net Worth: $9.3 billion
3.Yang Huiyan, 43, Country Garden Holdings, China, Net Worth: $5.9 billion
4. Eduardo Saverin, 33, Co-founder of Facebook, Net Worth: $5.3 billion
5. Scott Daniel Duncan, 31, Enterprise Products Partners, Net Worth: $5 billion

But hey, that just might not work for you, especially if you’ve breached the 30s or even 40s. There is, however this thing called luck. Remember what Seth was saying about the universe? Putting in what you want to get out? Do that today – put a little cash into the $100 million Powerball later tonight and you might just get around R1,3 billion out. It may just be rands, but that’s an investment waiting to happen.
