Every now and again someone sends us a video showcasing why life down here in the Western Cape is oh so good, and today it’s the turn of Bryn North.

His latest video, titled ‘WEEKEND TRAVEL’, is a montage of a weekend spent in Wilderness. Here’s the description from his YouTube video:

When the weekend arrives there’s nothing better than packing your bags for a quick road trip to explore a bit of South Africa. Heading out from Cape Town down the Garden Route towards Wilderness, only 450km out we arrive at the Kaaimans river for a bit of fun exploring the waterways by canoe, hiking through lush forest and trekking the coastline along the old Outeniqua railway, even checking out some surfing in Vic Bay . It’s a sick little piece of paradise and I would recommend a visit!!

Fairy Knowe is an official Baz Bus Stop so they will drop you off at the front door.

Toorbos Self-Catering

This is country living at its most genuine: the four cottages occupy a quiet corner of an 86 hectare Toorbos farm, overlooking a large dam and some of the 60 hectares of macadamia orchards-the ideal place for family holidays.
