Trump is the id of the Republican Party. He speaks his mind and tells everyone just how he feels – which is very patriotic. At a pep-rally at Ladd-Peebles stadium in Alabama, only half of those who had RSVP’d attended but the 20 000 strong crowd cheered their way through his lil’ speech. According to The Guardian, this is what went down:
He called to build a wall on the US-Mexico border (paid for by Mexico), for an end to birthright citizenship (‘anchor babies’), and questioned why America should protect Japan if it was attacked. He called Bush ‘weak on immigration’ and said Democrat Hillary Clinton wouldn’t ‘make it to the gate.’ He said that despite popular perception, the Triple Crown-winner Secretariat was really not that great of a sire. He said he went to jury duty.
As much as his comments were entertaining and filled with delusions, and as much as the crowd creamed themselves over his god-like words, one baby was just like ‘OH, HELL NO’ – kinda like Stewie Griffin.
