After the hacker group The Impact Team stole over 37 million users’ details of the ‘dating’ site, users of Ashely Madison are freaking out. The information leaked has a lot of personal information, including dates of when your account was active, address you used and email addresses. The raw data is also allowing people to screen what their cheating spouse was into – both sexually and physically. Weird.

Of the 37mil, 1.2mil were Britons and the Telegraph reported the following:

Among them are 124 civil servants, 92 Ministry of Defence staff, around 50 police officers, 56 NHS workers, 65 local education and school staff and 1,716 people at universities and further education colleges.

The data dump includes the details of two workers at the highly secret Defence Science and Technology Laboratory, spread across five sites but based at Porton Down in Wiltshire, which carries out research on chemical, biological and radiological weapons.

Everyone seems to be jumping on the ‘I’ve been hacked’ bandwagon. Many users have used their work email addresses, but claim that their identity has been stolen and that they have, obviously, never, ever, ever used Ashley Madison. A similar case, but across the sea, is Josh Duggar. *Ahem.

Josh Duggar, a reality TV star turned Family Values Activist, made his fame through TLC’s reality TV show, 19 Kids and Counting. He is conservative, but harbours a massive problem: his sex drive. His details on the Ashley Madison site were quite interesting. According to Gawker:

In July 2014*, he seems to have started a second account that was linked to his home in Oxon Hill, Maryland, where he spent his time lobbying against causes like same-sex marriage. The birthday listed in the data for Duggar’s first account is February 3, 1988, one month off Duggar’s actual birthday of March 3, 1988. The birthday listed for the second account is March 2, 1988.

The second account, which was registered in July of 2014, was paid on a monthly basis until May of 2015.
