There’s nothing worse than someone freaking out because you haven’t responded to their Whatsapp message, and they KNOW you’ve read it. Do this for a better life..
Whatsapp users will know about the ticking system. If a message has been delivered, there are two grey ticks, which turn blue as the user opens it and reads it. So what happens when dealing with psychopaths, is they start freaking out when they know you’ve read their message but you haven’t responded. They think you’re scheming or avoiding them, when in fact you’re actually having a shower. Or watching a movie. Or stoned.
Luckily for you, 2oceansvibe has decided to put this social stress aside, and show you how to turn this nonsense off. If you do this, people will no longer know if you have read their messages. By the same token, you won’t know if they have read worse. Everyone will just get double-grey ticks – all the time.
Which I’m fine with, because hey, who cares – it’s too much information anyway.
STEP 1 – Click Chats on the top left to get back to the main bottom menu
STEP 2 – Click settings on the bottom right
STEP 3 – Click Account
STEP 4 – Click Privacy
STEP 5 – Turn off Read Receipts
