Do you know how many people have asked me who ‘Tessa’ is? You see, I have this annoying habit of writing an exaggerated ‘Yesss’ in reply to really exciting things, like ‘I washed your clothes’ or ‘There’s food for you in the oven’.
But that damn auto-correct keeps changing it from ‘Yesss’ to ‘Tessa’ and then I get the reply, ‘Who’s Tessa?’. Not so smart after all, Mr Smart Phone.
Bleak though about this chick.
In a lil’ sms to her friend, this Scottish teen’s mom requested the following:
All was good until the day they received the cake. Opening the box, there was a little brunette girl sitting on the top, with a blue and white polka dress and a cane. She, due the sms’s instructions, was blind.
Apparently the family took in stride, and, after wondering whether or not to remove the little girl as it might be offensive, saw the humour thanks to auto-correct and decided she could stay. The incident went viral when the birthday girl’s sister, Emily, tweeted the following:
The best thing about autocorrect is that it’s meant to be there to make things easier.
