OH EM GEE > news just got out that the various races of Cape Town can be found partying together in one place! We’re not so divided after all!
Pfffft, whatever.
But lets get serious: for those of you who don’t know, Mzoli’s Meet is actually a butchery and is named after the owner, Mzoli Ngcawuzele. It was opened in 2003 and has long been the place to party on any given Sunday in years since. It’s known for its infectious energy, consisting of House Music, braai’d meet and famous local and international faces.
Hopefully one day news portals won’t need to point out mixed-race parties of this city, even if it was just by interviewing locals who had never witnessed it before.
