It was only a matter of time until Air New Zealand made the obvious connection but they have managed to pull it off very, very well.
The All Blacks took some time off from dominating world rugby (minus last week’s blip against the Wallabies) to team up with the airline for their new safety video. Rugby fans will recognise some familiar faces, as will fans of the Men in Black movie franchise. Mashable reports:
Created in collaboration with Sony Pictures, All Blacks captain Richie McCaw and Kiwi superstar Dan Carter take leading roles as Men In Black agents, alongside coach Steve Hansen and teammates. Frank the Pug is back causing trouble while there are cameo appearances from Australian rugby great David Campese, former England Captain Martin Johnson and former Argentinean Captain Agustin Pichot.
This is an official plea to SAA, please can we make an advert where Bismarck and Jannie du Plessis are required to act in front of the camera? Anyone remember ‘pump by die dam pump, pump pump‘?
