UPDATE: BIC Apologises in the worst way possible
The poorest way to apologise in this day in age is by shifting the blame – and what’s even worse than that is to blame it on an article that is 3 years old. Well done BIC, we might as well just throw away our razors, pens and lighters right now.
I mean, come on! Who the hell is dumb enough to create a campaign using this copy in Bic’s latest effort to celebrate Women’s Day:
Look like a girl,
Act like a lady,
Think like a man,
Work like a boss!
#HappyWomensDay
A massive congratulations goes out to BIC for choosing one of the few agencies that would think “Hey, let’s celebrate Women’s Day by being as sexist as fuck.”
The worst is, this was just after they posted their ‘Miss BIC range’ on their Facebook page:
If BIC is telling women to think like a man, wouldn’t this colour palette be a bit contradictory? Please, get your shit together. It’s 2015.
