Drinking is a massive part of our every day culture. We drink during business meetings, to celebrate the smallest of occasions and, most commonly, to wind down after a hard day’s work. What we drink depends on the person: beers, cocktails, something on the rocks, maybe a Jack & Coke or, throwing caution to the wind, a selection of shooters.
After reading the effects of the most popular soft drink in the world, the peeps over at AlcoholicGifts created an infographic on the effects of beer within a 24 hour period – and they’re not that bad.
Basically, your body just gets its own back by making you dehydrated because of the dangerous chemicals it produces to get rid of the toxicity you just poured down your throat. Nothing too serious.
This infographic has a little more information, highlighting how not to get drunk and why people have different reaction times.
So, before you head out and get your drink of choice, do some research so you know what’s potting and maybe your hangover won’t be so bad tomorrow. And if it is, we all know what the best cure is.
