Head Butt Into Throat Grab – Lionel Messi Went A Bit Too Far This Time [Video]

Unlike most modern footballers you have to really irk Lionel Messi to get an aggressive reaction out of the little maestro. Unfortunately no lip readers have been able to make out quite what sparked last night’s fracas between Messi and Roma defender Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa, but whatever was said must have really hit home.
The Barcelona and Spanish player took exception to Yanga-Mbiwa’s words and lashed out, first with a head butt and then a throat grab in what was supposed to be a friendly between the Spanish giants and Italian team Roma.
If I was playing Barcelona the last guy I would pick a battle with would be little Leo. Before you could get as much as a jab in, his teammates would rush to his defence, the rabid Suarez wielding his considerable front teeth enough to put me off.
