No-one seems to have made the connection between the director at The Camps Bay Retreat hotel where Gabriela Alban was murdered, and a hopeful orgy recruitment ad for The Bay Hotel back in 2005.
If you missed the tragic story about the recently murdered woman in Camps Bay, you can read up about it here. In a nuthshell, the woman was found at the Camps Bay Retreat – murdered in a room with half a kilo of cocaine. It is believed that her injuries stem from a curling iron and there was allegedly a message written in excrement on her body.
Most of the news reports about this horrific story feature ‘hotel director’ and ‘chief service officer,’ Roelof Troskie.
Like this one from Fox News in the US:
The chief officer of service at the hotel where Alban was murdered, Roelof Troskie, told the Cape Times that hotel officials were not commenting until police complete their investigation.
“We are still waiting for the Camps Bay police to get back to us before https://artsandhealth.ie/ventolin/ giving any comment, as they are busy with their investigation,” he told the paper.
And this one from iol:
Alban was found dead in the hotel room about 3pm on Wednesday afternoon at the luxurious Camps Bay Retreat.
Hotel director Roelof Troskie confirmed she had been booked in at the Chilworth Road retreat, but would not provide further details except to say that they were “waiting for the initial report from the Camps Bay police”.
Mr. Troskie wasn’t always at The Retreat hotel in Camps Bay – he was once the Managing Director at one of Cape Town’s most famous 5-star hotels, The Bay Hotel – also in Camps Bay.
GANG BANG PLANS
Back in 2005 The Bay hotel published this advert in the newspaper:
This ad was picked up by 2oceansvibe at the time and then by the Sunday Times, who published this article.
We’ll keep you posted on further developments.
