If you’re filthy stinkin’ rich and happen to be a James Bond fan you’ll be salivating after you read this one.
The suave international man of mystery has battled many villains during his rein as one of Hollywood’s top dogs. In The Spy Who Loved Me 007 takes on a reclusive megalomaniac named Karl Stromberg, a man who harbours ambitions to destroy the world (seems excessive but hey) and create a new civilisation under the sea.
Here’s the Telegraph telling us about this killer crib, going for just the £10 million (R198 million):
The Villa Amoras, a 9,687 sq. ft. (900sq m) seven bedroom super luxury residence in the Aga Khan’s Costa Smeralda Resort in Sardinia, has been designed with a beautiful swimming pool that passes right underneath the entire house, with the pool visible through a glass floor in the main reception room. This extraordinary villa is now available for sale…
Villa Amoras is located in the exclusive residential area of Miata, Porto Cervo, part of an enclave of twelve luxury villas designed by renowned architects, in the world famous resort of Costa Smeralda in Sardinia. It was designed by renowned architect and designer Luca Scacchetti to integrate with the stunning natural coastal surroundings, shaped over thousands of years by the Mediterranean wind and vegetation.
The wonderful location offers stunning sea views over Liscia di Vacca, the Archipelago of La Maddalena and the often snow-capped mountains of Corsica. Scacchetti was also involved in the design of the interiors of the villa, ensuring continuity of the conceptual design.
Time to get stuck into some pictures I think you will agree. Here’s a gallery of some of the top snaps:
Not too shabby hey, just have to find that R198 million lying around and we’re all good to go.
If property is your thing – and it should be, solid advice in this field is rather essential – we recommend tuning into Saturday’s The Abstract Aimee Show, broadcast from 10AM until midday.
