Prince Charles is a strong contender for ‘grandfather of the year’ as he restores William & Harry’s treehouse for George to play in.
If these photos from the Daily Mail are anything to go by, it’s pretty damn magical.
Be warned: Serious envy may occur.
The Royal playground is situated at Charles’ private home, Highgrove, which he has spent 35 years cultivating to become an organic garden paradise.
And if that wasn’t enough…
He has also installed a £20,000 hand-made artisan shepherd’s hut – complete with a little bed, woodburner and French oak wooden floors – in his wildflower meadow for George to enjoy.
And the prince and his now two-year-old grandson have even planted a Balsam Poplar tree in the gardens within sight of the main house as a lasting memory of their time together.
Apparently William and Harry aren’t green-fingered, so Prince Charles is hoping it’s something he can share with his grandson.
I want to say something scathing about the fact he’s spent £20k on a handmade shepherd’s hut, but if he asked me if I wanted to play in it I wouldn’t say no.
