Determined Lions Dodge Traffic To Take Down Kudu [Video]

You’ve probably already seen this epic photo showing the moment a lion takes down a kudu in the middle of a Kruger road….

Now you can watch the whole thing unfold in this video.

I don’t know what’s more impressive; the way the two male lions burst onto the road in hot pursuit of the doomed kudu, or the nerves of steel of the cameraman who managed to get it on film, despite watching two ginormous lions hurtling towards him from the bushes.

A British researcher was responsible for the photos, who said:

The kudu spotted the lion and tried to escape across the tar road. Its hooves slipped on the tar and it landed on the ground between a group of cars.”

The lions apparently had a good half-hour feast before taking their spoils back into the bushes.
